Cable News outlets under increased scrutiny. Well it is about damn time!

Employees at Time Warner Inc.'s CNN and General Electric Co.'s MSNBC, and a contributor to Fox News have all confused "Obama" and "Osama" in the last year in one form or another, and apologized for the mistake.

The most-recent dust-up began Wednesday afternoon during a segment on Fox News by commentator Michelle Malkin about conservative attacks on Michelle Obama. At the bottom of the screen, a headline said, "Outraged Liberals: Stop Picking on Obama's Baby Mama!"
One Fox News viewer saw the phrase on screen, and emailed a tip to the Web magazine Salon, according to Alex Koppelman, who runs a political blog for the magazine. Mr.

Koppelman says he verified the viewer's claim using a Web site called Redlasso, which offers an archive of television news clips, and posted an item online.

Just another example of bloggers protecting the public from careless unscrupulous cable media demagogues. This article definitely make it clear who is the worst offender on this subject.

"FOX News, manipulating their viewers since 1996!"
